The moot court was aimed at developing students' practical skills in the field of dispute resolution at the international level. The participants divided into teams, presenting their arguments to the judges.
On November 29, a moot court on the topic "Resolution of an interstate dispute in the International Court of Justice" was held in the courtroom of the Russian-Armenian University. The event brought together students and teachers of the Institute of Law.
During the moot court, students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the process of resolving international disputes, study the legal norms and procedures applied in the International Court of Justice.
Following the results of the moot court, the jury selected the winning team that demonstrated the best argumentation and legal analysis skills. All participants received certificates.
The performances of the contestants were assessed by Narek Abgaryan, Yeghishe Kirakosyan and Michael Riepl.
It should be noted the moot court was organized by the Сhair of International and European Law.
