The purpose of the competition was to inform students about the preferences of the Republic Armenia's membership in the EAEU.
Mariam Sardaryan and Yekaterina Andriasyan, students of the Institute of Law of the Russian-Armenian University, took part in the competition for undergraduate and graduate students of universities of the Republic of Armenia «Armenia in the EAEU. Prospects of the Republic of Armenia's participation in the Eurasian Economic Union in modern conditions». The competition was organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Armenia.
The purpose of the competition was to inform students about the preferences of the Republic Armenia's membership in the EAEU.
The task of the competition was to improve the student's research skills. In their research papers, the students analyzed the historical and legal prerequisites for the creation of the EAEU as an integration organization, special attention was paid to the institution of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments on civil disputes in the EAEU.
The students identified problems that affect the degree of legal certainty of the institution of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments in the EAEU, and also raised the problem of the lack of a single mechanism for legal regulation of this legal sphere in the EAEU, the presence of which is necessary for the functioning of a single market to guarantee equal protection of the rights of participants in cross-border turnover belonging to different member states.
