At the Russian-Armenian University were discussed theoretical issues related to certain criminal procedural institutions

The event was organized by the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the Institute of RAU.

At the Russian-Armenian University, theoretical issues related to certain criminal procedural institutions were discussed, and proposed possible solutions were presented. The participants of the round table presented their research works, covering a wide range of relevant topics.  

The speakers emphasized that evidence in court plays a key role in the process of establishing facts and ensuring justice. It can be presented in various forms, including witness testimonies, documents, physical evidence, and others. Each category of evidence has its own characteristics.  

The effective functioning of the criminal process depends on the interaction of all its components — evidence, defense, investigative bodies, and judicial authorities.
